hi, i’m Jen.

i’m a C-PTSD survivor, and i get it. you’re not alone—and you can find relief.

trauma-informed care can help.

  • Disrupt Triggers

Somatics are a body-based practice meant to get into the body + disrupt triggers. Somatics can help those with long-range trauma heal, especially if traditional therapies have plateaued.

  • Reform Whole-Brain Cooperation

By disrupting triggers + reconnecting our full brain, we reform neural pathways to rewire the brain from long-range trauma + allow ourselves to use healthy coping mechanisms instead of trauma responses.

  • Engage Boundaries

C-PTSD often affects our adult relationships due to trauma during our formative years. Somatics teaches us to set up 3-step boundaries which allow us to stay safe in our bodies, minds, + relationships.

  • Create a Wellness Team

Using therapeutic inquiries, Somatics can flush out the origin of our triggers. Working with traditional therapy or additional healing modalities like EMDR, somatic therapy can help us heal the original wound.

the number one thing i tell survivors is:

“YOU ARE NOT ALONE.”
