This inversion workshop will explore 3 advanced variations for use in vinyasa: chinstand, forearm stand, + scorpion pose. We’ll begin with shoulder opening, work through foundational abdominal strength, loosen our hamstrings, and prepare the body to support us in an inverted position.
We will have access to copious props + build using blocks; the wall will NOT be a part of this workshop! Yogis whose forearm stand is steady + who want to experiment will be lead towards backbending in scorpion.
You MUST have a foundational inversion practice to take this workshop, including strong chaturanga or plank pose, and the ability to float in inversion practice (NO KICKING!).
